Fujifilm just announced the redesigned successor to the $99 Instax Mini 40 it introduced in 2021. A minor upgrade, the Instax Mini 41 retains its vintage look but notably now includes the parallax correction feature found in the Instax Mini 12. This should help users avoid shooting off-center images in close-up mode, though we’ll have to test it to determine whether that claim is true.
Fujifilm has yet to release details about pricing, but says that it should be available by the end of April.






The Nintendo kicked off its new console generation with a very flashy bang. The Verge had the opportunity to go hands-on with the console, testing out a bunch of games and features revealed during yesterday’s direct presentation. I got to play Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Mario Kart World, a little bit of Breath of the Wild, Donkey Kong Bananza and so much more. Here’s our thoughts.


It can be used on its own but I found it to be the ideal companion to PD’s Outdoor Backpack I reviewed. Detach the padded cross-body strap and the $59.95 2L Outdoor Sling can be secured to the shoulder straps of the backpack where it acts as a chest pouch for quick access to a wallet, keys, drone, phone, glasses, and compact camera.
