Subject: A fascinating collection
Subject: A fascinating collection
This volume consists of 6 papers that Lawlor wrote, all revolving around Eusebius, Ecclesiastical History. The papers are well thought out, although at
...
times Lawlor goes beyond the evidence (e.g. the paper on Hegesippus). The research is solid for 1912, but it is somewhat dated for 2013. I like these papers, and think they still are of use. His insights are good. Unfortunately one must use these papers with an eye to the advances in the 101 years since this was published.
