Blue Ridge Parkway全长469miles. 连接着North Carolina的Smoky Mountain National Park 和Virginia的 Shenandoah National Park 。被称为是America’s Favorite Drive。

我觉得其实最适合去那儿的季节应该是秋天，可以看到漫山遍野的红叶。

Parkway一路都有很多overlook区域，供大家停车观景。到了这“站得高，望得远”的地方，发现自己腿脚都有些哆嗦，有些恐高症的症状。一路开车还可以钻很多山洞。山上时晴时阴时雨。忽热忽凉的。因为Cherokee是Parkway在北卡的起点，所以来来回回在parkway上开了几次。不过一直没有遇到太多蓝天白云的美丽天色。远处的山和天几乎总是一色，灰蒙蒙，还有几层雾笼罩。难怪叫“Smoky Mountain" .

一路上，我都会想起那首《Country road take me home》。

Almost heaven, West Virginia,
Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River.
Life is old there, older than the trees,
younger than the mountains
growin' like a breeze.

country roads, Take me home to the place I belong.
