若干年前，我曾与一位黑人签订份合同。当时，那黑人一上来就要签订十年的合同，我告诉那黑人，合同最多签五年。由于那黑人的生意是新建的生意，尽管他吹嘘自己有生意上的经验，我还是强烈建议黑人先只签一年的合同，一年后，如果生意进展顺利，再续签五年的合同。可是，那黑人不听，坚持要五年的合同，为了这份合同，甚至与我谈判从下午2点直至夜晚10点，简直是按8小时工作制进行的，把合同里的每个字和每句话都谈个遍，简直到了吹毛求疵的地步。

合同签完，黑人开始了他的生意。 但是，他的生意始终惨淡。

没过几个月，黑人找到我，要求提前接除合同，说他爸死了，他爸就是他的天，他的生意无法再进行下去了。

为了能让我同意提前解除合同，黑人给我下跪，用下跪恳求。黑人这一跪让我感到被动，周围人来人往的，都看见了，黑人给华人下跪，让人感觉华人是种族主义者，影响不好。我没别的选择了，同意解除了合同。

黑人又怕我反悔，所以，有了下面的这两封信，信中都有下跪一词，以祈求我的仁慈不变。

Good morning sir  As promised, I started moving my stuffs to a friend garage. We should have last stuffs out today and start cleaning. Keys will be ready tomorrow and checks are also ready.
