$ echo '123000 123123       -123123123'   | numfmt --suffix Q --field - --to si
123KQ  124KQ           -124MQ
$ echo ' 123000 123123       -123123123'  | numfmt --suffix Q --field - --to si
  123KQ  124KQ           -124MQ
$ echo ' 123000  123123       -123123123' | numfmt --suffix Q --field - --to si
  123KQ   124KQ           -124MQ

In order, the width of the first two fields should be
  6 6
  7 6
  7 7
but numfmt formats as-if they were
  5 6
  7 6
  7 7
