It would be really good if savelog provided the ability to rotate log files, as it
currently does, but without ever deleting the oldest file. Currently this can be
done by setting -c 20000 or some other huge number, but this messy. Maybe -c 0 or
something similar would be good?

I would like this because I keep email logs and would like them to be compressed
and archived regularly but never deleted. This is just one example --- sure there
must be plenty of others.

savelog -d can achieve this for you, I think
