Subject: jam: man page out of date
Date: Thu, 27 Oct 2005 19:17:39 -0400 (EDT)
Package: jam
Version: 2.5rel-1
Severity: normal

The jam man page says several out of date things:

> Jam/MR -- Make(1) Redux

and

> -d n Enable cummulative debugging levels from 1 to n. Interesting val-

where /usr/share/doc/jam/RELNOTES.gz says:

>	The whole /MR of Jam's name has been dropped. It was intended

and

> -d has been reworked to make it easier to display more useful
> tracing information separate from the debugging gunk:
> -da - show all actions (formerly -d2)

(etc.) I complain mostly because the man page led me to some
confusion about whether I'd actually gotten the new version installed
or not...
