        Hi!

 It would be nice if the long description of your package could consist
of full sentences[1], the snippet in the first paragraph is missing its
subject.

 Furthermore, I suggest you to leave out the paragraph seperations in
between the list items. It stretches the description a fair bit too much
and isn't really needed, the indentation and the bullet marker is enough
for recognizing it.

I fail to understand in what way that first paragraph is not a full 
sentence.  Would you prefer adding "Libresample is..." in front?

BTW: You are welcome to polish that first sentence yourself (and any 
other things you feel like improving): The package is maintained using 
Git at the collab-maint group of Alioth - so all Debian Developers have 
write access:

git clone git.debian.org/git/collab-maint/libresample

 Yes, something like that, maybe with rearranging the sentence a bit.

 Oh, right, didn't check too close on that - and given that I'm not a
native speaker myself and not familiar with the package at hand I'm not
feeling too comfortable with fiddling around with its description, I
just noticed that it's starting off a bit incomplete. :)

 What old name do you refer to? Gerfried? Well, Rhonda is just a nick
name (and the email address holds that already), and I haven't really
deciced which proper name I would like to go by, to be honest ...
