Subject: wicd-gtk: displays messages for the ad-hoc network when connecting
to another network
Date: Sun, 24 Jul 2011 22:15:58 +0200
Package: wicd-gtk
Version: 1.7.0+ds1-6
Severity: normal
In the wicd wireless config, I have an ad-hoc network "adhoc-vinc17"
that had been automatically added some time ago. But when I want to
connect to some normal (non ad-hoc) network with wicd-client, the
messages displayed at the bottom of the window are prefixed with
the name of the ad-hoc network "adhoc-vinc17:". Only the displayed
messages seem to be affected; thus this is not a big problem, but
it is very confusing, in particular when the connection seems to
fail (perhaps partly because of bug 614673).
