[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Package: gwenview
Version: 4:4.4.5-2

I am running Squeeze on an old desktop computer.
I attach a file showing versions of some of the packages installed in
my desktop computer.

I used gwenview to look at some old pictures which have jpeg,
comments, (some seem to have more them one comment block).
These comments were probably made using wrjpgcom.
I hoped that gwenview would display the pictures and the comments.
It displayed the pictures, but not the comments.

I tried clicking on a picture to display only that one picture.
I clicked on the Information tab on the side-bar,
it showed 'Meta Information' followed by some Exim data.
below that it showed 'Description' followed by a large blank space.
I wished to see the jpeg comment.
I tried using Plugins -> Images -> Metadata -> Edit_Captions...
this showed the first part of the comment.

I tried using command rdjpgcom to read the comment, and saw the whole
comment.

I tried it on some more recent pictures annotated by using gwenview,
version 1.4.2-5+b1 .
gwenview version 4:4.4.5-2; it failed to display the JPEG comments.

How can I configure gwenview so that it will display jpeg comments
conveniently, and allow me to edit them iff I wish?
I looked in the documentation, but failed to find the answer.

Thank you very much for maintaining gwenview.

Best regards
Richard Betham
