Subject: TypeError: window.navigator.mozGetUserMedia is not a function
Date: Wed, 06 Mar 2013 18:06:41 -0500
Package: iceweasel
Version: 19.0-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Thanks for keeping iceweasel up-to-date with the latest upstream
releases!

I'm experiencing a problem with iceweasel 19.0-1 from experimental that
I don't experience when I run version 19.0 of Firefox.

The problem is when I try to test html5 video from this web site:

http://mozilla.github.com/webrtc-landing/gum_test.html

By pressing the video button, I get the error:

TypeError: window.navigator.mozGetUserMedia is not a function

When doing the same using Firefox 19.0 (and the exact same profile) a
working video stream from my camera is displayed.

I've configured media.navigator.enabled to true and
media.navigator.permission.disabled to be false.

I suspect this may be disabled intentionally perhaps for security
reasons. I think keeping it disabled by default is reasonable, but I
think user's should be able to enable it via about:config.

thanks,
jamie
