Subject: /usr/bin/amixer: named card syntax not explained in man page
Date: Fri, 24 Oct 2014 18:41:13 +0200
Package: alsa-utils
Version: 1.0.28-1
Severity: minor
File: /usr/bin/amixer

Hello,

It is possible to specify card as

amixer -c 1

or

amixer -c Intel

or there is maybe some other undocumented possibility?

Either way, man page only explains selecting by number and not name.

Please amend.

Thanks

Michal
