Subject: workrave: segfault when trying to start under wayland
Date: Thu, 02 Feb 2017 12:05:42 +0200
Package: workrave
Version: 1.10.16-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
When I choose to use gnome-shell session with wayland, workrave didn't start at
all.
Here is relevant lines from /var/log/messages
40741:Feb 2 00:18:03 hostname kernel: [847269.177052] workrave[21622]:
segfault at 20 ip 0000000000000020 sp 00007ffdaeaa7458 error 14 in
workrave[5633f8bc3000+186000]
40786:Feb 2 00:18:55 hostname kernel: [847320.656635] threaded-ml[2323]:
segfault at 0 ip 00007f0f4761c94b sp 00007f0f21e1bbe0 error 6 in
libc-2.24.so[7f0f47526000+195000]
When I run it from gnome-terminal it segafaults.
Switching back for gnome-shell without wayland runs workrave with session start
(which is my preference).
best regards
Kamen

To the best of my knowledge, workrave currently does not support wayland.
This is being worked on, but due to limited developer interest, progress
is slow.
