Hi,

this is my first lintian bug.. please bear with me :)

In debhelper compat 12, the python-distutils buildsystem was removed and
pybuild should be used instead (see debhelper manpage):

  "The python-distutils buildsystem is now removed.
  Please use the third-party build system pybuild instead."

I suggest to add a warning in lintian, regardless of the dh compat
level, so that people are aware and migrate as early as possible away
from python-distutils to pybuild.

Please let me know if you like to add this, so I can (try) to come up
with a patch for it.

Yep, definitely. How are packages using this? For example, with:

  --buildsystem=python_distutils
  
… or are there other ways? Feel free to respond with a WIP patch, of
course. :)
