Severity: normal

Hi,

this is what Powertop shows on my X260:

|PowerTOP v2.10 Overview Idle stats Frequency stats Device stats Tuna
|
|The battery reports a discharge rate of 6.35 W
|The power consumed was 138 J
|The estimated remaining time is 2 hours, 45 minutes
|
|Summary: 672,4 wakeups/second, 0,0 GPU ops/seconds, 0,0 VFS ops/sec and 4,5% C
|
|Power est. Usage Events/s Category Description
| 10.1 W 0,9 pkts/s Device nic:tun0
| 3.33 W 42,0% Device Display backlight
| 75.6 mW 0,0 us/s 0,00 Process [PID 11844] /usr/sbin/pc
| 598 uW 7,9 ms/s 17,7 Process [PID 9789] /usr/lib/fire
| 387 uW 5,1 ms/s 20,9 Process [PID 8710] /usr/bin/plas
| 253 uW 3,3 ms/s 48,4 Process [PID 8807] /usr/lib/fire
| 225 uW 3,0 ms/s 4,5 Process [PID 9417] /usr/lib/fire
| 217 uW 2,9 ms/s 76,9 Timer hrtimer_wakeup

I fail to see how a nearly idle tunnel interface can take > 10 Watts.
This must be wrong.

Greetings
Marc
