Package: fdpowermon
Version: 1.18
Severity: normal
Hi,
I have fdpowermon running with awesome (and no "modern" desktop
environment). Things work fine, except that after some time, when I'm
not looking, fdpowermon just disappears. I can't say what's happening,
the icon and the process are then just gone.
Any suggestion on how to debug that? Start from gdb?

Yeah, me too :-)

gdb wouldn't help. "perl -d" might, though. But don't start there.
Instead, I would suggest you capture fdpowermon's stdout and stderr.
They might reveal what's happening. If not, the perl debugger ("perl
-d") might help.
Note that if you run fdpowermon or awesome in a session, the output may
be part of your ~/.xsession-errors file or some such.
