Hello Md Ayquassar,

I guess mesa maintainer would have more insight if
that function pointer is allowed to be NULL, there
possibly yes.

I wonder if the content of /var/log/Xorg.0.log* would
reveal some more error messages?
Just for a workaround, does giving nomodeset on the kernel prompt
a different result?

I assume line 1017, 1018 and 1019 are one statement, therefore gdb shows 1017.
Further I think the function pointer "dri2_dpy->dri2->allocateBuffer"
contains the NULL, therefore the "ip 00000000" in your dmesg output.
A "regular" segfault should still show a sane instruction pointer value.

Kind regards,
Bernhard
