414 delegates representing districts around the state gathered this weekend for the 2025 CEA Representative Assembly to elect new officers, vote on a budget, new business items, and amendments to the constitution and bylaws, and honor exemplary educators.

With 408 delegates in attendance, CEA’s 177th Representative Assembly—the association’s largest governing body—convened tonight at the Mohegan Sun Expo Center.

Hundreds of students, parents, and educators flooded the New Milford green this week rallying to protest nearly $2 million in cuts to New Milford’s proposed school budget.
