陸西星1520年 - 1606年，字長庚，號潛虛，又號方壺外史，南直隸興化縣人。明朝時期道教人士，道教內丹派東派的創始人。少時學儒學，中秀才。後九次鄉試未中，棄儒學道，自稱呂洞賓授其丹法秘訣。晚年又學佛參禪，是三教合流的人物。
陸西星主修內丹，提倡性命雙修。著有《方壺外史》、《南華副墨》、《道緣匯錄》、《賓翁自記》等。近人考據小說《封神演義》為陸西星作。據說陸西星為籌措女兒出嫁嫁妝費用，方撰寫《封神演義》，不料小說甫上市即大獲利市。
陸西星被尊為道教內丹東派祖師，此派與全真南宗一樣不出家修行。
