李元平（? - ?），唐朝宗室、官員。早年為湖南觀察使蕭複判官，又任大理評事。李元平眼小無鬚，性疏傲，平時大言不慚。淮西節度使李希烈叛唐，中書侍郎關播說李元平具將才，推薦為汝州別駕。李元平募集壯士修建城防，卻不知募集到的壯士多是李希烈派來的，于是在裡應外合下為李希烈所俘。李元平見到李希烈，心膽俱碎，嚇得尿流。李希烈見李元平沒有鬍鬚，故意說：「我讓你們抓李元平，你們怎麼把他兒子抓來了？」還苦笑說：「狗宰相真是瞎眼，派這種傢伙來對付我」。李希烈曾派李元平去說客顏真卿投降，被真卿斥回。後來李希烈稱帝，以李元平等人為宰相。
