薛戎（8世紀 - 821年），字元夫，河中寶鼎縣（今山西省臨猗縣）人，唐朝大臣。薛戎年輕時有學術，不求聞達。隱居于陽羨山，四十餘歲始入仕。應江西觀察使李衡徵辟，為從事。齊映取代李衡，他繼續任職，齊映走後他回到山中，後來又署福建觀察使柳冕幕府。轉任殿中侍御史、權領泉州刺史事。不畏權勢，執法平允。柳冕想要誣陷馬總，派薛戎審問，薛戎不從柳冕之意，雖百般脅迫，終是不屈，于是辭職隱居。後為福建觀察使閻濟美副使，閻濟美為浙東觀察使，他隨之去越州。入朝為侍御史、刑部員外郎。歷任衢州、湖州、常州三州刺史，官至浙東觀察使。所到之處，都有政績，長慶元年十月去世，追贈左散騎常侍。其弟薛放。
