29  | 十七年，福潤增練步隊左營。鹿傳霖以陜西省自經亂後，兵制未復，乃酌留馬步防軍並練軍各營，居中策應，各路馬隊，利於巡緝，乃改步隊為馬隊以節餉糈，凡防、練軍馬隊千五百人，在平原及北山扼要駐守。張煦以湖南省自湘勇回籍後，專恃防軍彈壓各路，凡防軍萬人，水勇二千四百餘人，乃歸並損益，互為聲援。 |
