31  | 武宗即位，言官復薦，召為南京戶部尚書，遭繼母憂未任。正德三年，服闋。經婿兵部尚書曹元方善劉瑾，言經雖老尚可用，乃召為禮部尚書。固辭不許，強赴召。受事數月即謝病去。五年三月卒，年七十一。贈太保，謚文端。 |
