77  | 漢昭帝時，光祿大夫、給事中蔡義以《韓詩》進授。帝數歲，拜為少府，遷御史大夫，代楊敞為丞相，封陽平侯。義為丞相，年八十餘，短小無須眉，貌似老嫗，行步人免僂即俯字也，常兩吏扶夾乃能行。時大將軍霍光秉政，議者或言光置宰相，不選賢，苟用可顓制者顓與專同。光聞之，謂侍中左右及官屬曰：「以為人主師當為宰相，何謂云云云云，眾語謂有不選賢之言也，此語不可使天下聞也」。又韋賢為博士、給事中，以詩進授帝，稍遷光祿大夫、詹事，至大鴻臚。宣帝即位，以先帝師，甚見尊重。 |
