72  | 安南之役，韶言：「決里、廣源之建，臣以為貪虛名而忘實禍，執政乃疑臣為刺譏。方舉事之初，臣力爭極論，欲寬民力而省財用，但同列莫肯聽，至以熙河事折臣。臣本意不費朝廷而可以至伊吾盧甘，初不欲令熙河作路，河、岷作州也。今與眾異論，償不求退，必致不容。」韶本鑿空開邊，驟躋政地，乃以勤兵費財歸曲朝廷，帝由是不悅，以故罷職知洪州，又坐謝表怨慢，落職知鄂州。元豐二年，還其職，復知洪州。四年，病疽卒，年五十二。贈金紫光祿大夫，謚曰襄敏。 |
