| 23 | 曾國荃等宣力戎行，連克要隘，洵足以褫賊魄而快人心。若不量予恩施，將何以昭激勸？頭品頂戴江蘇布政使曾國荃，著交部從優議敘。候選同知直隸州知州曾貞幹，著賞給迅勇巴圖魯名號，以示鼓勵。朝廷賞功罰罪，一秉大公，非獨有厚於該大臣也。該大臣惟當督飭曾國荃等乘勝進攻，盡殲醜類，同膺懋賞，毋再固辭。「欽此。是日都興阿公軍破賊於揚州，李世忠追擊竄賊，破之。江北肅清。 |
