3  | 馮繼業，字嗣宗，大名人也。父暉，朔方節度使，封衞王，《五代史》有傳。繼業敏惠有度量，以父任補朔方軍節院使、牙內都虞候。周廣順初，暉疾，繼業圖殺其兄繼勲，暉卒，遂代其父位為朔方軍留後，遷節度使。建隆初，來朝。開寳二年，拜靖難軍節度使，改鎭定國。太平興國初，封梁國公，遂留京師，卒，年五十一，贈侍中。初，太祖禦戎，不勤逺略，夏州李彞興河西，折御勲，與朔方之軍，皆因其酋豪，許以世襲，由是邊圉無事。朔方之族既徙，其後夏州李繼捧亦以其地歸朝，繼捧之弟繼遷遂為變，而朝廷始旰食云。 |
