53  | 寧王憲，本名成器，睿宗長子也，拜左衛大將軍。睿宗將建儲貳，以成器嫡長，而𤣥宗有討平韋氏之功，意久未定。成器涕泣固讓，言甚切至，乃許之。開元四年，避昭成皇后尊號，改名憲，封為寧王。《舊唐書》本傳。寧王善畫馬，開元興慶池南華蕚樓下壁，上有六馬，袞塵圖內。明皇最眷愛，玉面花驄，謂無纖悉不備。風鬃霧鬛，信偉如也。後壁唯有五馬，其一者失去，信知神妙，將變化俱也。柳宗元《龍城錄》。 |
