| 145 | 甲申，御崇政殿，策試賢良方正能直言極諫，殿中丞吳奎所對入第四等，以奎為太常博士、通判陳州。奎，北海人，嘗為廣信軍判官，晝則治事，夜輒讀書不寐。楊懷敏增廣北邊屯田，至奪民穀地，無敢與抗者。奎上書論其不便，知保州王果亦屢爭之；懷敏使人訟果它事，詔置獄推劾，奎為果力辯，得免。慶歷中宿衛之變，懷敏當番直而得罪輕，奎時監京東排岸司，上疏曰：「臣聞句當皇城司六人，其五已被謫，獨懷敏尚留，人咸謂陛下私近幸而屈公法，臣竊為陛下痛惜之！況中外傳聞，且獲賊之際，陛下宣令勿殺，而左右輒屠之，此必有同謀者，恐事洩露而殺之以滅口。不然，何以不奉詔也？」 |
