31  | 夏伸字允嘉，福清人。洪武乙丑進士，授石首縣丞。升知絳縣，有惠政，考最為天下第一。晉刑部員外郎，戚畹常中虐縱不法，伸抗疏論之。太祖嘉其風力，授都察院左都御史。在院僅五十七日，復以直諫忤旨，左遷廣西按察司僉事。伸長於藻鑑，貴池許觀為布衣時，有同里人攜觀制義以示伸，伸曰：「此人當大魁天下，異日必端方台閣也」。後觀鄉、會、殿試皆第一，歷禮部右侍郎。靖難兵起，抗節死。《福建通志》 |
