94  | 王應鵬，字天宇，鄞縣人，正徳六年進士，知嘉定縣。少從王陽明先生游，得理學之傳，清慎端方，不輕發一言，不驟舉一事，不偏聽一人，勸學古文，㑹選集俊髦之士，羣居學舍，親自督責，以考其成。被召赴京，僚友有餽贐者，一介不取，或問之，曰：「此處正當立斷」。累官都察院右副都御史王道字純甫，武城人，正徳進士，授編修，仕至吏部左侍郎。道文學行誼，表著一時，難進易退，晚得向用，隨亦病卒，惜夫！ |
