2  | 文正之初敗於靖港也，湖南布政使徐有壬、按察使陶恩培詳請撫臣奪其軍，參奏治罪。俄而塔忠武以陸師大捷湘潭，撫臣乃不敢極言文正罪，然亦不敢論鮑起豹恇怯狀。既奉硃諭，切責起豹，代之以塔，而於文正請罪疏，有溫慰詞，且云；「汝此時心搖搖如懸旌，平日自命養氣之功何在？」又令奏調司道大員隨軍支應。徐、陶聞之，謁文正，頓首稱死罪以謝。 |
