《序》
4  | 《玉壺野史》十卷，宋僧文瑩撰。據晁公武《讀書志》，文瑩《湘山野錄》，作於熙寧中。此書則作於元豐中，在《野錄》之後。前有自序云，收國初至熙寧間文集數千卷，其間神道、墓志、行狀、實錄、奏議之類，輯其事成一家，蓋與《野錄》相輔而行。玉壺者，其隱居之地也。《文獻通考》載文瑩《玉壺清話》十卷，諸書所引亦多作《玉壺清話》，此本獨作《野史》，疑後人所改題。然元人《南溪詩話》已引為《玉壺野史》，則其來已久矣。若曹溶《學海類編》摘其中論詩之語，別名曰《玉壺詩話》，則杜撰無稽，非古人所有也。周必大《二老堂詩話》，嘗駁其記王禹偁事之訛；趙與旹《賓退錄》，亦詆其誤以梁固之弟為固之子；王楙《野客叢書》，又摘其誤以龐籍對仁宗事為梁適。蓋不無傳聞失實者，然大致則多可考證云。 |
