1  | 元何中撰。中有《通鑒綱目測海》，已著錄。是書因朱子謂周子《通書》乃發明《太極圖說》之義，故所注《通書》，皆比附於太極陰陽五行中。則謂二書各自為義，不必字字牽合，故作此書以辨之。前有自序，謂自天地以來，止有一理，理之同者，雖百世之上，百世之下，九州之內，四荒之外，無不同也。而況一人之心，一人之言，豈有不相通者乎？朱子釋《通書》，顯微闡幽，有功於學者至矣。然必欲以《通書》發明《圖說》，則恐非周子著書之本意云云。其持論頗精核，所疑各條，亦皆中理。卷末附記稱，竊窺朱子之意，同時學者固有疑《圖說》非周子之書。而朱子主張甚力，遂以《圖說》為主，而以《通書》為發明《圖說》而作云云，尤深得當時有激而立言之故。然二書分而解之，固各有義理；合而解之，於本意亦無所害。既非宏旨所關，又何必字句之間徒滋聚訟耶。 |
