| 40 | 修中直兵參軍陳晷甚勇有口，求為覘候，見獲，以辭烈被害。乃遣諮議虞馨致武牛酒。武謂曰：「梁已為侯景所敗，王何為守此孤城？」修答守之以死，誓為斷頭將軍。魏相安定公宇文泰遣書喻之，力屈乃降。安定公禮之甚厚，未幾令還江陵，厚遣之，以文武千家為綱紀之僕。元帝慮其為變，中使覘伺，不絕於道。至之夕，命劫竊之。及旦，修表輸馬仗而後帝安。修入覲，望合悲不自勝，元帝亦慟，盡朝皆泣。 |
