121  | 初，張居正當國，吏部權漸輕，及宋纁、陸光祖相繼為尚書，稍自振飭。至鑨、守益堅，閣臣張位等欲奪其權，建議大僚缺，九卿各舉一人類奏，以聴上裁，鑨爭之不能得。自是吏部權又漸散之九卿矣。㑹大計京朝官，鑨與考功郎中趙南星字夢白，髙邑人力杜請謁，員外郎呂允昌餘姚人，鑨甥也，首斥之。南星亦斥其姻給事中王三餘，一時公論所不予者，貶斥殆盡，而大學士趙志臯弟預焉。王錫爵以首輔還朝，欲有所庇，比至而察疏已上庇者皆在黜中，由是閣臣皆憾。㑹言官論劾員外郎虞淳熙杭州右衛人、郎中楊于廷全椒人、主事袁黃嘉善人鑨議留淳熙于廷，給事中劉道隆潛江人遂劾南星專權植黨，貶南星三秩，鑨亦奪俸，遂連疏乞休去。左都御史李世達以己同掌察，上疏為南星訟，不聴于是，僉都御史王汝訓、右通政魏允貞等交章論□，而員外郎陳泰求言尤切。帝怒，斥南星為民，泰來等皆被謫。 李世達，字子成，涇陽人。王汝訓，字古師，聊城人。陳泰來，字伯符，平湖人。 |
