62  | 甲辰開運元年春正月壬寅，丞相林鼎卒。 |
| 63 | 鼎字渙文，閩人也。父無隱。鼎生於明州大隱村。初，刺史黃晟頗好禮士，無隱依之，有詩名。嘗為詩云：「雪消二月江湖闊，花發千山道路香。」知言者以無隱必有貴子。鼎初謁武肅，以為觀察押衙推，尋為文穆王幕府。文穆王以其才行，累薦不見用，一日，復密薦之。武肅王曰：「我觀林鼎骨法，真輔相器，然我不貴者，欲汝貴之，庶其盡心於汝也。」文穆襲國，署鎮海軍掌書記、節度判官。鼎性讜正而強記，能書歐、虞法。比及中年，夜讀書，每達曙，所聚圖書，悉由手抄，其殘編蠹簡，亦手綴之，無所厭倦。國建，乃掌教令，尋拜丞相。每政事有不逮者，鼎必極言之。天福中，建州之役，鼎指陳天文人事，累疏切諫。及師行，果不利。著文集行於世。終年五十四，謚曰貞獻。 |
