5  | 陸知命，字仲通，通識大體。性好學，為太學博士。唐陸元方，字希仲，蘇州人。初，明經後，舉八科皆中，轉監察御史。武后時，使嶺外，渉海風濤，舟人懼，元方曰：「吾受命不私，神豈害我？」趣使濟而風訖息。 擢天官侍郎，薦引皆親黨，后怒，元方薦人如初。后讓之，對曰：「舉臣所知，不暇問讎黨」。又薦其友崔●。暐有宰相才，后知無他，復拜鸞臺侍郎、同平章事。 素清慎，臨終取奏稿焚之，曰：「吾隂德在人，後當有興者」。 |
