Bill Murray was feeling frisky on Monday night’s (March 31) episode of Watch What Happens Live. While promoting his new movie with Naomi Watts, the comedian grabbed his co-star’s face and planted one on her mouth, shocking everyone in the Bravo Clubhouse.

The awkward moment came during the nightly fan Q&A when Amina from Washington DC asked Watts to name the “best onscreen kiss” of her career.

But before she could answer, Murray leaned over, pulled her head back, and kissed her on the mouth. When he came back up for air, he gave a thumbs-up to the camera.

“You’ve got lipstick on your face,” Watts said, pointing to the pinkish-red lipstick smeared across Murray’s mouth.

“OK. Did I go red?” Watts uncomfortably asked, while Murray added, “That was too easy.”

Watts proceeded to answer the fan’s question, telling the audience, “Well, of course, it’s Billy Crudup, my husband.”

The actors met each other filming the 2017 thriller series Gypsy. According to Watts, she knew they had real-life chemistry “when he threw a pillow across the room in the middle of a love scene.”

“Are you sure it wasn’t the day you got to work late?” Murray quipped.

Murray and Watts were on WWHL to promote their new movie The Friend, which comes a decade after they first starred together in St. Vincent.

“You clearly got along well enough that you wanted to work together again,” Cohen pointed out, to which Murray replied, “It was good. Well, you know, she’s not from our country. And I don’t know what’s going to happen in the upcoming weeks and months but I hope she’s allowed to remain,” referring to President Donald Trump‘s deportation policies.

When Cohen asked Watts — who’s from the UK — if she’s “worried” about getting deported, she replied, “No. Well, who knows?”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
