Hello,
My guest OS is Windows 7 32 bit. On it i installed Oracle Virtual Box 3.2.12 and then downloaded the compatible Solaris OS 10 version from the Oracle website. The downloaded package contained two files - one with ".ovf" extension and other with ".vmdk" extension. I imported the appliance into the VM Box. It took nearly 16GB by default. Then addition to it, I created a virtual hard disk with 50 GB space and then attached it to the this appliance.
My main motive is to install Oracle 11g database in solaris operating system. So, when i am extracting the software, after a while - it is throwing an error saying that "Disk Full".
ie., even though i attached an additional hard-disk to it - the solaris os (guest os) is not using it.
So, please tell me how to resolve this issue - which is very very important in my case.
Regards,
Sasidhar

Let's clarify a point. Your host OS is Windows and your guest OS is Solaris. Is it so?

And where is the VDI file located on the Host? How big is it at the time of the error? How much disk space does the Host have left when the error occurs?
