Dear colleagues, manuscript submission is now open for the workshop Domain Ontologies for Research Data Management in Industry Commons for Materials and Manufacturing (DORIC-MM 2021), https://ontocommons.eu/doric-mm-2021/, to be held on 7th June 2021 jointly with the European Semantic Web Conference (ESWC21). DORIC-MM 2021 is supported by the OntoCommons project (https://ontocommons.eu/) and endorsed by the Industrial Ontologies Foundry (IOF). Important dates: Manuscript submission: 1st March 2021 Preparatory OntoCommons event (mandatory): 15th March 2021 Camera-ready manuscripts: 9th April 2021 DORIC-MM 2021 workshop: 7th June 2021 Manuscripts between 3 and 16 pages using the standard LaTeX "article" class can be submitted through OpenReview (https://openreview.net/group?id=eswc-conferences.org/ESWC/2021/Workshop/DORIC-MM). The aim of DORIC-MM 2021 is to bring together ___domain experts (users) who can report on challenges from data management and developers (providers) of ontologies and semantic tools. The workshop will comprise two invited keynotes and a series of brief presentations and demos, followed by half a day of discussions and joint writing. Beside workshop proceedings, the outcome will include a registry of ___domain ontologies and a strategy document. The preparatory on-line kick-off is a free half-day event, open to anybody (and mandatory for DORIC-MM 2021 participants), that will take place on the afternoon of 15th March 2021. Since the DORIC-MM workshop is collocated with the ESWC conference, participants will also be required to register for the main conference (https://2021.eswc-conferences.org/). Financial support from OntoCommons may be available if needed. At present, we do not expect either the workshop or the conference to be held as an in-person event. Any important updates will be announced on the workshop website. In addition to the above, I would like to point you all to a form provided by the German national research data infrastructure (NFDI) where you can express your interest in ___domain ontology development: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSedlSuEGMgfzuM84PCyauxqkaaYbZMwsLzXSNwtnE8XoKRuHQ/viewform Best wishes, Martin Thomas Horsch
