the spelling of "silicone" looks intentional to me. the review is titled "Like the US is the only country to produce tech."

'Craig Wright of Australia wrote, a bit petulantly, “Always the assumption that [Satoshi Nakamoto] must be a bloody yank. The analysis of who Satoshi is is always so limited.”'

from this article: http://fusion.net/story/243056/alleged-bitcoin-creator-craig...

> So let’s recap: in September 2015, Wright was annoyed that people didn’t know who the real Nakamoto was.

Is Kashmir unable to read? Wright never said that. He was clearly angry about the national stereotyping and the 'assumption' and how thinking is 'limited'. This is exactly like those cases where women authors publish books under names like 'J.K. Rowling' and readers assume they are men; of course they are going to be upset.

here here. That's a global maximum.

I believe this is it, though github is down for me now so I can't really tell.

That's only API docs and some forked Haskell libraries. You can't find source code of the actual app there.

This needs a few more upvotes and comments. This is a gem. I think you could replace Passive Income with anything really. It's anything a person has decided will help them escape their situation and person.

His followup post is interesting also. After receiving hate-mail for putting down 9 to 5'ers, he explains that he is jealous...

Corpus Delicti, latin for body of crime...

I'm sympathetic to the discussion of promoting a civil and interesting community, however, in this specific example, I believe the lack of sensitivity towards the poster is actually worse than the crime itself.

Guidelines are exactly that, guidelines. When a long time contributor becomes emotional about the brutally honest instruction of killing an industry, which happens to be one he feels aligned to, I would figure the appropriate response is to explain rather than admonish. There is a propensity to over-regulate with respect to the guidelines, which I attribute to a lack of thought, really.

I found the article on Neal Stephenson to be more interesting. A link to it appears in the second last para.

Neal is one life's greatest hackers. Not technology, but life in general.

The idea isn't so bad but your copy or communication is really bad. Your tag-line doesn't make sense. "We provide reviews for tech reports." - Why would I want a review for a tech report? Even the clicking on an example wasn't really enlightening. E.g. Finance. There is no attached chart...

Agree with the community being more important than the marketplace, will look to add more web 2.0 elements...

Why another marketplace? Because if I love books, then I want a place to hang out where there is only book related information.
