"Save as" overwrites the original file as well like "Save" does? OMGWTF

IIRC the sensor uses optical flow and hence doesn't measure speed "directly" -- in spite of the fact that the article states so at its very beginning. Anyway, this technique is kind of promising and I'm curious to see the future results.

It should be added that this of course only concerns floating point math.


Let's just hope that meanwhile the developers got it right and those games can be installed on case-sensitive filesystems. IMO this is a huge problem with game software on OS X, even Steam f* it up when recently they approached the Mac.


Did anyone else notice how the blue-ish marker lags behind the actual position of the piece during playback? Having that in a demo is kind of ridiculous...

I find it particularly interesting that he breaks down the number of neccessary cases to only 4 compared to the standard explanation found everywhere else.


Yes, that's the power of purity. On the syntax side, or-patterns express those remaining four cases very succinctly.
