I've handled it that after 10 openings of an app the dialog is shown. The assumption I use is that after 10th time user kinda finds it useful. Anyway, 92 4 and 5 star reviews, of total 98 seems to confirm my assumption.
In addition to viraptor's post. I want just add that for sure some Poles we're anti-Semitic. But labeling whole nation like this is a terrible mistake, which lead humanity to at least one holocaust.
In 1930 Jews were 11% of Poland's population. There we're 116 Jewish newspapers.
In September 1939, around 120k Jews fight with Germans in Polish Army (as officers as well, please find officer in Whermaht or in SS) against Germans and Russians. All pow's with Jewish ancestors we're murdered by Germans :-/, only because they we're Jewish.
Well what my point is, you cannot say things like this, it's just wrong. You're harming a memory of wonderful and amazing cultural contribution.
I would gladly show you Łódź or Kraków in Poland, so you can witness with your eyes, how wonderful we're coexistence of Poles and Jews.
I have 2 apps on AMarket right now, making far to less money to live from them. Only solution is to work as a consultant for bigger players.
But still the same model is on App Store, my friend who is independent do the same.
Nice thing about Android is that casual users won't even know they are using Android, when smartphones will become standard. And slowly they are becoming.
From my perspective, AMarket when GOOG will finally make it usable (2.0 in month) may become really profitable. 3 mln users right now.
Also new handhelds look really promising, and if Motorola treats Android as their last resort, well I, as a small fish need to follow bigger players behaviour.
During studies I used EBSCO www.search.ebscohost.com , there is almost every field, from Astronautics to Zoology :-), but access to some resources is limited.
Wandering if its one of many possibly dangerous start-ups. Few weeks ago i read about Copenhagen rocket science engineers, with great plans for future (moon landing was in their aims). What with bioengineering start-ups?
It's off topic, but do you know some of this groups? And what don't you think that freedom in such fields can jeopardise large population?
iPhone now but wife has Android and I'm intending to switch.
I move between countries for extended periods (the US, UK, Australia) and Apple has absolutely raped me for updates and activation. I'm a paid customer, I shouldn't need to crack my phone to use it.
