I agree with you and I am building this app right now.

Would love to hear your feedback and any feature requests you might have.

If you are sick of current social media and long for what we had in the past, check out what I am building.

After ditching social media, I've come to greatly value close connections with my friends and family. Meeting up and hanging out, or calling them regularly if they live far away, have proved far more fruitful than any value I thought I got out of using even tools such as AIM or MySpace (as referenced on your site). What does this provide that could improve upon these high-quality connections?

Additionally, assuming growth comes your way, how do you plan to support your platform/company from a financial perspective? Targeted ads, or...? What do you intend to do with user data?

i design an EMR for a veterinary company based in LA. can confirm our care team gets quite upset with the software at times. it is incredibly difficult to build a great user experience for all the different positions and use cases that occur throughout the day. with that said, it has been a fun and rewarding experience over the last 4 years. we are hard at work bringing AI into the EMR right now.

> we are hard at work bringing AI into the EMR right now

I’m sure there are benefits so be had from AI in an EMR at some point, but many would see it as a vast upgrade just to have a system that responds to clicks, doesn’t lag and kind of does what it says it will.

it is easy to agree with this. however, the problem is most people just don't care and/or are lazy to do something more meaningful. and there is nothing inherently wrong with that.

My solution is to pay them to pick up trash. Those that do are housed for free.

That'd work great until someone realizes there's all these bins of precollected trash all over the place. Perverse incentives.

Assign an area to each person and that person has to ensure it stays clean. Don't pay by the pound of trash collected, pay by the area kept clean.

1000% this

Yeah he said that in the article

i love this planet
