Anna Wintour, 75, recently revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she thinks her 2025 Met Gala co-chair A$AP Rocky and his longtime partner, Rihanna, are the most influential celebrity couple when it comes to fashion. “First of all, they're very talented, they're very brilliant, I think they have wonderful values, and they have an enormous amount of style," the Vogue editor-in-chief told the outlet. Outside of music, Rocky, 36, and Rihanna, 37, have built a reputation for their fashion sense and entrepreneurship over the years — all while raising their two kids, RZA and Riot, together. The theme of the Costume Institute's 2025 exhibition and inaugural gala is "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style." Rocky is co-chairing the 2025 Met Gala with Colman Domingo, F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams and Wintour, alongside honorary chair LeBron James. Per Vogue, the 2025 Met Gala theme will examine "the importance of clothing and style to the formation of Black identities in the Atlantic diaspora." It's the first time since the Costume Institute's 2003 exhibition "Men in Skirts" that the museum and gala will focus on menswear. In October, Rihanna said that she and Rocky were still working out their outfits. "He didn't tell me anything. All we have planned is to be there. I'm not worried about him. I'm worried about what I'm gonna do," she said of prepping her look. A Look at Rihanna's Fashionably Late Met Gala Appearances (Approved by Anna Wintour) Rihanna and Rocky have long been some of Wintour's favorite celebrities. Wintour, who has co-chaired the event since 1995 and has strict guidelines for guests, has given the Fenty Beauty founder a pass when it comes to tardiness. She said in a "73 Questions" interview with Vogue in 2014 that the "Umbrella" singer is the only celeb allowed to be late to her party. Close Leave a Comment
