Chappell Roan Reveals Her Hilarious Relationship Dealbreakers as She Goes Public with New Romance

Chappell Roan has some non-negotiables when it comes to relationships.

During the Tuesday, March 25 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, the "My Kink Is Karma" musician, 27, discussed her hilarious relationship dealbreakers as she confirmed that she's in a "serious" relationship.

"Bad breath. Chewing with their mouth open is cray-cray. People who, like, don't tip," Roan told host Alex Cooper. "That freaks me out. Or if they treat their waiter bad, I will never talk to them the same."

The "Pink Pony Club" musician also revealed she doesn't like people who "talk about their exes badly or their the women in their family badly."

"I don't date men anymore, but that was, like, a common thing. Isn't it crazy? It was, like, talking s--- about their mom, about their sister," Roan recalled.

The Grammy-winning pop star also noted that she's "sensitive to smells," and when it comes to "immediate deal breakers, she believes people's "music taste says a lot" about them.

"if someone doesn't like Beyoncé, I'm like, that says a lot more than what I need," added Roan.

Elsewhere in the interview, "The Giver" singer confirmed she was in a relationship.

After host Alex Cooper asked Roan about her relationship status, Roan revealed she had been dating someone for “six months.”

When Cooper, 30, asked if it was “casual?” — a nod to the pop star's viral hit. Roan replied, “No. It's serious. I'm very in love.” 

She then told the podcaster that she met her current partner “through a friend."

“I'm dating the same person that I was dating before it blew up,” Roan explained. “I'm not sure how I would date now. I think it would actually be a nightmare. I think I would be, like, so f---ing single right now.” 

She further added that she's "scared" of the prospect of dating now.

"I don't trust anyone. Any new person that I am texting, I'm like, I'm assuming they will screenshot this and send it to someone else. That's why I can't," said Roan.
