On the show, the co-founder of the Tel Aviv Institute will explore “the unique stories of prominent Jewish figures across various industries, highlighting that Jewish identity is just one facet of an individual’s diverse, multidimensional life,” according to an official synopsis. In addition to Messing, Entourage’s Emmanuelle Chriqui, Big Bang Theory’s Mayim Bialik, Love Island’s Eyal Booker, Stranger Things’ Brett Gelman, singer Ari Dayan, artist Zoe Buckman, author Yseult Polfliet Mukantabana, NBA executive Rachel Simon, Broadway’s Alexandra Socha and actor Etai Benson will also be featured during the season. And They’re Jewish is about reclaiming that narrative — showcasing the artists, chefs, actors, and creators whose work you love, but whose Jewish identity you may not have known,” Mazzig said in a press release. “This series isn’t just about visibility; it’s about celebrating the depth, diversity, and undeniable impact of Jewish voices in every space.” In PEOPLE’s exclusive first look at the trailer for the upcoming series, Mazzig visits the homes of Messing, Bialik, Booker, and Chriqui as he travels “to every corner of the globe to speak with people who are shaping our world.” When he sits down with Messing, 56, she points out a picture of her and fellow Jew Barbra Streisand while Bialik, 49, appears slightly starstruck by his presence. “I usually see you on my phone, but now we're in the flesh,” she tells Mazzig before reflecting on her career accomplishments.
