Gleb Savchenko Says He's a 'Relationship Guy' and Not a 'F--- Boy' After Brooks Nader Breakup, Slams Cheating Claims

• Savchenko insisted he was not unfaithful and called himself "a family guy" and a "relationship guy"
• The pair first met in September 2024 when they were paired together on season 33 of Dancing with the Stars

Gleb Savchenko wants to clear his name.

Just two weeks after news that Brooks Nader broke up with the Dancing with the Stars pro for a second time after she allegedly caught him cheating, he is defending his character. In an interview with E! News on April 22, Savchenko, 41, insisted that he was never unfaithful in the relationship. 

"I'm not a cheater," he told the outlet. "I'm actually a family guy. I'm a relationship guy. I'm not a f--- boy who goes around and goes on all these dates. I'm not even on dating apps."

When it comes to the public chatter, Savchenko added that it is understandable given “everybody sees it and reads it and speculates about it.”

He went on to say that he saw the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model, 28, “every single day” despite being on the DWTS live tour, where he "did not have any days off on tour for 15 weeks."

"This thing happened that broke my heart," Savchenko, who noted he is “doing okay” now, said of their split. "It was really upsetting."

On April 7, an exclusive source told PEOPLE that Nader cut things off with Savchenko due to his infidelity, and her younger sister confirmed it in a TikTok the next day.

“She doesn’t know it yet but in 24 hours she’ll find out he cheated,” she wrote over a video of Nader on Savchenko’s lap.

In his own statement at the time, Savchenko claimed to be blindsided, saying he was "surprised to learn" through the media "that Brooks has ended our relationship."

"The last communication I received from her was a text on April 6th, asking to speak. I called her today in response, but she has not replied," he said at the time.

“The last time I saw Brooks was when I traveled to New York to support her and film an episode of her reality show on March 31st and April 1st and she was sad to see me leave, but I had to return to DWTS to finish my four month tour at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood,” he continued. “I am still processing everything, and while I don’t have all the answers, I wish Brooks the best moving forward.”

This isn’t the first time the pair have gone their separate ways since first meeting as partners for season 33 of DWTS in September 2024. In October, a week after their elimination from the competition show, Nader revealed Savchenko had broken up with her over text, although they rekindled things shortly after.

"He was going through something and then he said, ‘Picked up my stuff. I’m going to Joshua Tree tomorrow for a few nights. We should have a conversation but I think I'm done,’” Nader read from her alleged conversation with Savchenko during a TikTok live in November. “‘I care about you. I think you're an amazing person. You always have a special place in my heart. I love you.' That was on October 23.”

“I never responded,” she added. “Then, October 25, he said, 'I miss you.' Then, October 26, 'I’m so sorry, I want to talk to you. I actually miss you.' Then, of course, we had a little chit-chat.”

Noting that “there was a spark immediately,” Nader clarified that they were both “taking it day by day” amid recent relationship changes. (In December 2023, she and her husband of four years Billy Haire separated, and in April 2024, Savchenko split from his model girlfriend Elena Belle after nearly three years.)

“He's so amazing and so special,” Nader gushed during a February interview with PEOPLE. “I did not intend — whenever I went on Dancing with the Stars at first — I didn't intend to be in February right now still seeing him, but here we are.”

“I mean, life is so funny how it happens,” she admitted. “And it was a little bit of a kismet, serendipity situation that we met when we did and just both being freshly divorced and the whole thing, it was insane. He's just such an amazing person, so I'm lucky to know him. He's more lucky. I'm just kidding, [but] he knows for sure.”
