Gun N' Roses Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose Says He'll Stop 'Tossing the Mic' into Crowd After Reportedly Injuring Fan Ferrer told Music Radar about joining the legendary rock band in 2016 and keeping up with their signature sound, referencing former drummers. "I really try to keep the spirit of the way the song was played," he said at the time. "When we play the Appetite… stuff I try to have the push and pulls. [Steven Adler’s] punk rock bits are great." “Adler’s playing was one of the greatest rock drumming performances in the history of music. You can put it in the top ten. His playing on Appetite… is perfect. Then with [Matt] Sorum it’s a little more tight and more reserved kind of playing. I do try to keep that spirit, though.” Guns N' Roses are set to embark on the international Because What You Want & Want You Get Are Two Completely Different Things tour on May 10.
